Teen Book Reviews.

Rinya B., who visits our Central Branch, reviewed Begging For Change by Sharon G. Flake.

Rinya picked this book because she said it looked interesting.  She said, “This book will hypnotize you!”  And the praise continued, “It’s so good, that you won’t be able to keep your eyes off it.”  Rinya stated that if this book was a person, she would like it on facebook.  I think Rinya wants you to read this book.

JM, also a patron at our Central Branch, read Alan Lawrence Sitomer’s The 01_thehoopster_235x352Hoopsters.

JM mentioned that the book sleeve blurb caught his attention, but the story got him hooked.  “This book is really deep, and I like it!” said JM.  He added, “It’s books like this that are the reason I read during my free time.”  JM would definitely recommend this book to a friend, and pictured Denzel Washington as the protagonist if they ever made a movie.

Thanks to Rinya and JM for the reviews.  Remember, these books and more are available at your local St. Louis Public Library.
