Teen Book Reviews.

Love to read?  Love to write?  Want to read a book before it hits the store shelves?  If you are a teen and frequent one of our public libraries, ask one of our Youth Services staff how you can read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of upcoming young adult books.  Each month we will offer a different selection of books (whilst supplies last) that you can read.  All we ask in return is that you fill in a review form (provided for you), and let us know what you thought of the book – good, bad, or indifferent.  Return the form and you could get your review posted here on our blog!

Nina M. from our Machacek branch recently read Survive by Alex Morel.  If the book was a person she said she would, “Like it on facebook“, and “Invite it to her party.”  She gave the book a total swoon factor of 8-out-of-10.  Even though Nina was intially drawn in by the book’s sleeve blurb, it was the story and the characters that kept her reading.  She would definitely recommend the book to a friend.

So . . .
